About Chris
Chris Sabbath is proud of his Cleveland, Ohio, heritage, but also loves living in San Francisco. Since 2002, he has been somewhat of a local celebrity here amongst us, writing about music-related things for the San Francisco Bay Guardian, San Francisco Chronicle, and XLR8R magazine. You may have also seen his handsome mug beaming your way from behind the windows of the Great American Music Hall and Slim's box offices. In his spare time, Chris frequently posts about underground music to his Brontosonix blog, plays with his three cats, and jams with his wife in their band, The Sabbaths. He is a fan of punk rock and noise and also likes Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch, but only their early stuff.
