Alemany Farm

For San Franciscans looking to get their hands dirty, Alemany Farm is just the thing. The 4.5 acre working farm in southeastern San Francisco aims to educate and feed local residents with all sorts of horticultural workshops and volunteer work days. The land has been a community resource for decades, and will likely remain so. It is green in all senses of the word. Be advised that although the Farm is in city limits, it feels fantastically remote. Bring sturdy shoes, gloves, a water bottle, sunscreen and snacks.
