Green Cab

SF Green Cab was launched May 1st, 2007 with just one Toyota Prius. The eight founding members were optimistic and eager to hit the road. There were skeptics abound but the tenacious cab company continued forward. San Francisco's taxi market is notoriously one of the most treacherous. It is nearly impossible for a new company to launch and then to sustain growth. We've been doing that and we don't appear to be slowing down. We are a young and flexible company. That means that we can adapt to the changing market conditions more rapidly than the stodgy old machine companies. Green Cab's short history has been a thrill ride but it's our future that's most exciting.
