SF is... A sleepy little sea side town. It is not "San Fran."

Where does everybody know your name? A lot of places, I'm very fortunate that way.

Who's your favorite quintessential local character? People like Dannette and Eric Scheib of Lemon Twist, Michael Recchiutti, or Dave McLean of Magnolia Pub / the Alembic. These people have brought their creative visions to life and that's one aspect of San Francisco that motivates me. Or maybe just The Bushman down at Fisherman's Wharf.

Why do you love your neighborhood? There's so much creative energy here, people make stuff, they have businesses that interface with their customers, and there's a real human side to it and a great sense of community.

Where do you go to relax and get away from it all? Either Crissy Field for a stroll and a view of the Golden Gate Bridge or Flora Grubb for a cup of Ritual coffee.

If you can change one thing about San Francisco, what would it be? Decent efficient public transportation all governed and operated by one agency. It exists elsewhere...
