Where does everybody know your name? California College of the Arts! My partner is getting her MFA there, and every time I am out and about I hear someone from her program calling my name! I’m hoping to get my design degree by osmosis.

What event will we find you at this week? Habibi, a new play be playwright Sharif Abu-Hamdeh, at the Intersection of Arts.

What's your most embarrassing SF moment? My sense of direction embarrasses me regularly, but when I first moved to SF I saw the top of Sutro tower through the fog and thought I was looking at the top of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Where would you have your last meal on earth (and what would you eat)? Right now I'd say Universal Cafe, and I'd be happy with anything on the menu as long as I start with the buttermilk beignets.

What's your favorite San Francisco institution (i.e., character, food cart, museum, landmark)? Without a doubt Shalimar in the Tenderloin, I've been going there for 10 years and it is still exactly the same: same faces, same newsprint menu and same mismatched plates.
