SF is... like living in Paris after being in LA for so long.

Where do you get your local gossip? Between working in a big restaurant and being in the industry to begin with, you don't have to look for gossip. It finds you.

Who's your favorite quintessential local character? Range pastry chef Michelle Polzine. Whether it's playing punk rock or creating amazing dessert courses, she epitomizes everything good about the Mission; uncompromising, completely unique, and totally fearless.

Where's your go-to date place? It would have to be Slow Club because the combination of the ambiance, the decor, and Chef Matt Paul's food is just devastating.

What's your favorite under-the-radar SF restaurant? Citizen's Band. The chef, Chris Beerman, applies his high-end training to an accessible and exciting restaurant perfectly.

What do you get obsessive about here in SF? Inconsiderate drivers.
