Neighborhood: Nob Hill

Gig: Editor-in-Chief, The Owl Mag

Why do you love your neighborhood? Because I'm starstruck by indie bands and chefs, and there's lots of both here. I see Hubert Keller in front of Fleur De Lys often.

What do you get obsessive about here in SF? Music, festivals, and music festivals. Luckily there's at least one of the three available on any given day.

Where do you get your local gossip? Mission Mission... because they feature anything, no holds barred.

Where's your go-to date place? Dinner at SPQR then a movie at Kabuki. Easy peasy.

Where do you go to relax and get away from it all? The rose garden in Golden Gate Park because it's serene and empty; sometimes you can completely forget you're in a city entirely.

What's your favorite SF institution? The Fillmore, no question. From the poster art to the music and the venue itself, everything about it is legendary and still breathtaking to this day. The bouncy floors and poster gallery in the bar upstairs make my life complete.
