What's your most embarrassing SF moment? Checking out a cute guy across Castro Street, I marched headlong into a street post and almost knocked myself out. (After regaining my balance, I realized that the cute guy was actually a girl!)

Who's your favorite quintessential local character? There’s a guy that does calisthenics and jumping jacks on the sidewalk on Upper Market. He’s always wearing a headband and his tube socks are pulled up to his knees. He’s always got a smile on his face. I’ve seen him every afternoon for the past 18 years!

What's your go-to date place? Herbivore on Divisadero Street.
