Who's your favorite quintessential local character? The shirtless dancer guy. I’m sure I just described a number of different local characters. But seriously, I’ve seen this same guy in two or three places around the city with his speakers on wheels and his belly out, dancing for anyone that will watch - some serious confidence. Honestly, I’m kind of jealous.

Where's your go-to date place? The Kabuki Theatre. When I found out that they had 21+ shows with food and drinks, my boyfriend and I were hooked. It makes paying to go see a movie more worth it when you can enjoy a drink with it.

Why do you love your neighborhood? I love that I can always find parking, and if I choose to leave my car for four or five days, I'm not likely to have any problems. There are so many little local businesses that you wonder how the hell they are operating with as little foot traffic as there is. Then you stop into one and realize that it's their charm. I love that in two minutes I could be in Golden Gate Park, at Ocean Beach, or after a short ride on MUNI, another great neighborhood. And once the neighborhood actually shows you it can live up to it’s name, why would you ever consider moving out of a place with such beautiful displays of nature?

Where do you go to relax and get away from it all? The dunes on Ocean Beach. There is nothing like tucking yourself into the mounds and grasses and blocking out everything in your periphery except for those waves - talk about soothing.

What's your favorite SF institution? I am all about SFMOMA. During the Frida Kahlo exhibit a couple years back, I swear I could have set up camp and never left. I would live there if I could.

What would you change about SF? Does it sound terrible to say "make it cheaper?” I know I probably just need to get more creative but it’s hard seeing three or four bedroom houses with pools for rent around the country going for less than a two bedroom on Lincoln.
