What's your most embarrassing SF moment? The most embarrassing moment was locking myself out of my office at 11pm and having to flirt with a drunk guy at a nearby bar to borrow his iPhone so I could log into Facebook and find the cell phone number of a friend to rescue me.

What event will we find you at this week? This week, it will be Rushmore at the Castro Theatre Friday night. And last night I went to SF NightOwls.

Why do you love your neighborhood? I love my neighborhood because it is full of cafes, restaurants, the post office, and the 33 bus runs right through it. And because most Saturday mornings, the dog adoption folks bring out puppies on the corner of Castro and 18th.

If you can change one thing about San Francisco, what would it be? The cost of renting an apartment. A distant second are funny smells and slow MUNI.

Where do you go to relax and get away from it all? I run through the Panhandle and Golden Gate Park until I reach Ocean Beach.

What's your favorite San Francisco institution? Although I have this huge background in art and art history, I only recently joined the SFMOMA. I've been going repeatedly and treating the galleries like they are an extension of my home.
