What are you up to these days? I’m trying to make it as easy to share your recipes as it is to share your photos.

Where would you have your last meal on earth? I’d get the dry fried chicken wings from San Tung, although I suppose I’d like a nice nama sake, so maybe I’d swing by True Sake first and smuggle in a couple cans of Funaguchi Kikusui.

Who's your favorite quintessential local character? I like the cheerleading/exercising guy on upper Market in Twin Peaks. He helps me motivate in the morning!

Where's your go-to date place? I enjoy lunch and a mid-day cocktail at Coco 500 with my man. It feels naughtier when you have to go back to work afterward.

What's your favorite under-the-radar SF restaurant? Szechuan Taste on Taraval at 19th. For 40-some dollars, you can get a six-person meal that includes soup, a crab, shrimp, clams, a whole fish, chicken, pork belly, a vegetable, a dessert, and sliced oranges. It’s the cheapest and most delicious way to feed a crowd.

What's your favorite SF institution? The Tuesday noon siren. It’s followed by recorded instructions that are impossible to understand.

What would you change about SF? I’d love to reinstitute neighborhood schools so that people don’t have to get into their cars every morning and afternoon just to drive their kids across town to and from school.
