Jill Storthz Artist

loves a good magic trick

Jill

Neighborhood: Dogpatch, The Mission

Gig: Printmaker

Where does everybody know your name? At Graphic Arts Workshop, a print making co-op in the Dogpatch.

What event will we find you at this week? At the Stag Dining Group/Bold Italic dinner in the Dogpatch (eds. note: we're excited to be featuring Jill's artwork at the dinner).

Who's your favorite quintessential local character? I love a local musician named John Robb. He's quite a character. You can find him playing monthly at The Rite Spot.

What's your go-to date place? North Beach. There's Coit Tower, City Lights Bookstore, Shein & Schein (the antique map shop), Caffe Trieste, Washington Square Park, L'Osteria del forno, Vesuvio Cafe, Specs, Tosca and lots of other gems.

What's the question you wish we asked? Have you collected all the National Park Quarters that have been released to date? I would have said yes.

If you can change one thing about San Francisco, what would it be? Make it more affordable. I hate to see friends move away because the cost of living is so high.
