What are you up to these days? Litquake October 7-15! And after that, sleep.
What event will we find you at in the next week? Zyzzyva launch party, Litquake fundraiser at Café Bastille.
SF is... a forever-mutating embodiment of gadgetry and ceviche.
Where would you have your last meal on earth? Tu Lan on 6th and Market. I’d have the spring rolls, lemon beef salad, the spicy beef pho, two Singhha beers, a quick Tatuaje cigar on the sidewalk, and for dessert I’d run up and hug the giant homeless man who just walked in the front door covered in urine and wearing a 6-foot chain around his neck. And then I’d die.
What do you get obsessive about here in SF? I used to be quite obsessed with obsessive people here, because they’re initially quite entertaining and the city provides a never-ending supply, but it’s a thankless and low-paying job, and it tends to repeat itself. So I’m probably obsessed about not being obsessed with obsessives.
What would you change about SF? Less striving for consensus, more filling of potholes.
