What are you up to these days? I work full-time as an industrial designer. Outside of that, I run a small vinyl-only label, DJ, and run a semi-monthly party with some friends called FACE.

What's your own secret spot? Ratio 3 Gallery on Stevenson Alley in the Mission still feels like a secret.

What's your favorite under-the-radar restaurant? Sushi Zone. I'm always surprised by how many locals don't know about it. Hawaiian roll #2, Baked Sea Bass Mango, and Stuffed Jalapenos should not be missed. The place is tiny, cozy, and loud. Be prepared to wait and to get pretty ripped. 

What's your favorite San Francisco institution? When our guest DJs and producers come into town, they usually want to hit Groove Merchant Records ASAP.

What local merchant have you been meaning to check out? I want to check out AQ restaurant. I finally got around to checking out Maas & Stacks. I really like what those guys are bringing to SF for menswear.

What would you change about San Francisco? The liquor laws and the time things close at night.
