Neighborhood: Glen Park

Gig: Science teacher, Sequoia High School, Redwood City

What event will we find you at this week? Running with the San Francisco Road Runner’s Club

What's your most embarrassing SF moment? Getting beat-up by a pothole in the sidewalk at Golden Gate Park while trying to race my younger brother, and ending up in crutches for two months. I lost the race.

Where would you have your last meal on earth (and what would you eat)? Sushi Raw (Mission Terrace) – one of their specials of the day.

Who's your favorite quintessential local character? The Emperor of San Francisco. He is one of the finest examples of how San Francisco is a place where the eclectic can be at home.

Where do you go to relax and get away from it all? Glen Park Nails has comfy massage chairs, is super clean (they autoclave their tools), and make my toes pretty.

What's your go-to date place? Academy After Dark. It has everything! A rainforest, the cosmos, penguins, a giant octopus, drinks, and NO kids!
