Gig: The brand-y bits for an awesome edible & dMBA Grad Student

SF is... not supposed to be referred to as “Frisco.”

Where would you have your last meal on earth (and what would you eat)?  Bar Jules where I’d be stoked with anything scribbled on their chalkboard. Parenthetical fun fact: Bar Jules resides in the building that used to be the Don’t Call It Frisco Laundromat.

What's your go-to date place? Golden Gate Park; there’s nothing better than holding hands rollerblading through the park on a Sunday when the road’s closed... Just kidding! A date? That’s a fruit, right? Take three: Bike ride to brunch at Zazie, Plow, or Outerlands—it’s a toss-up, which I blame on being an indecisive Libra.

If you could change one thing about San Francisco, what would it be? A comprehensive underground public transportation system. I miss the New York City subway; I carry around my expired Metro Card to remind me of the good ol’ days of reliable public transportation. Oh, and warmer water so I wouldn’t have to done a 4/3 wetsuit whenever I go surfing.

Where do you go to relax and get away from it all? Enter the Arguello Gates. Take a left at the stop sign; up the hill, veer right then left. Go behind the building and down the path. There’s a bench with a pretty view.

What local merchant have you been meaning to check out? Pizzetta 211… still haven’t been. Pathetic.
