What are you up to these days? Searching for the truth through tea. I recently opened a traditional, contemporary tea house called Taste in Hayes Valley where locals can relax and explore Chinese tea.
Where would you have your last meal on earth? I'd head to Mums in Japantown for the all-you-can eat shabu shabu and all-you-can-drink sake. I'd like to die drunk and stuffed with beef and rice.
Where do you get your local gossip? The Bold Italic, because they reveal the soul of the city.
Where's your go-to date place? Fort Funston (dog heaven). We can enjoy a nice walk with the dogs without leashes.
What's your favorite under-the-radar restaurant? If you like spicy Chinese food, you have to try Z & Y Restaurant in Chinatown. Their pork belly melts in your mouth.
Where do you go to relax and get away from it all? Sitting on the grass and watching the sunset at Alamo Square Park always bring me peace and joy.
What's your favorite SF institution? The Chinese Culture Center.
