What are you up to these days? Trying to make going into the woods fun and simple for everyone.

SF is... the best blend of urban and outdoor living in America.

Who's your favorite quintessential local character? Scott Ellsworth, owner of The Uptown bar. Scott has seen it all and I get good advice from him.

Where's your secret spot? Sam Wo's, a Chinese eatery in the middle of Chinatown. It's great for late night food and is known for having one of the world's rudest waiters, Edsel Fong.

What's your favorite under-the-radar SF restaurant? My friend Elizabeth Wells just opened an amazing southern food place called Southpaw BBQ in the Mission. If you could believe it, I grew up eating southern food in Alaska. A Korean living in Alaska eating grits.

What's your favorite SF institution? The staff at Festa Karaoke Lounge in Japantown. They're the most amazing people to talk and sing with.

What's next for you in your personal world? Starting a Yeah Yeah Yeah's cover band with all Korean bandmates singing their songs in Korean. (No joke).
