Where does everybody know your name? Usually Workshop on the corner of Baker and McAllister, unless a class is being taught. Otherwise, my home, though our cat might disagree.
What event will we find you at this week? Not sure, but I will be at the Independent to see Bill Callahan on June 18th and at the Hemlock Tavern on June 23rd to see Bill Orcutt. And by the way, no, I don't just go to shows by guys with the first name Bill.
What's your most embarrassing SF moment? Probably the time I didn't realize I was on an L and yelled at the bus driver to stop. I felt stupid, and I had to walk an extra five blocks.
What's your go-to date place? Lupa in Noe Valley, which is also great for taking your girlfriend's mother on her birthday.
Why do you love your neighborhood? I'm close to Amoeba Music, Recycled Records, the Panhandle, and Buena Vista Park; records and days in the park playing whiffleball rule.
What's your secret spot in town? The men's room at the main San Francisco Public Library. It's like the cantina from Star Wars. I miss you John Rosenberg.
