Gig: Freelance Public Relations and Special Events
What are you up to these days? I'm working full time as a performing arts publicist and also freelancing in fashion public relations and special events in NY, LA, and sometimes SF. My side projects keep me busy, but I love it.
Where would you have your last meal on earth? Limon Rotisserie in the Mission. They have the MOST AMAZING melt-in-your-mouth, juicy rotisserie chicken! It's extremely flavorful and the side dishes are to die for.
Who's your favorite quintessential local character? The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. They are funny, campy, fabulous, and such icons in the community. They represent everything that's great about the LGBT community and support many good causes.
Where's your go-to date place? NOPA Restaurant. They have wonderful food and drinks, and the atmosphere is inviting and date-worthy.
What's your favorite under-the-radar restaurant? The House. It's this great Asian fusion restaurant on Grant Street. I love the environment and the delicious noodle dishes they serve!
Where do you go to relax and get away from it all? The Kabuki Springs and Spa. I love Japanese anything and when I found out there is a place dedicated to the art of Japanese bath rituals in San Francisco, I almost died.
What would you change about San Francisco? NOTHING!
