Travis originates from a part of the Midwest where the wind blows free and answers can be found. He now lives in San Francisco working as a technologist, consulting throughout the Bay Area. Heading up operations for Mollusk Surf Shop seems as natural as the surf at his favorite spots. He believes inspiration comes from freedom to express ideas and from solving problems — artistic and practical. To paraphrase Dylan, you get a knot in your mind and you have to free it. Travis admits the importance of music as his muse and that these are the waves of our lives.
