About Raman

Raised in Miami, Raman has a hard time staying put. He traveled, studied, and worked on five continents before he and business partner Wendi Norris opened Frey Norris Gallery in 2003. In eight years, the gallery has grown into a “micro-multi-national” art lab and exhibition venue, projecting major artists through fairs, biennials, museums, and colleagues’ galleries around the world. Raman has cocktail-fueled extra gears for sleepless flights, foreign hotels, and monster jet-lag. Time with his daughter, serving at YBCA, snowboards, scuba gear, and mountain peaks figure prominently in his “free time.”
