About Caroline
Caroline is a content connecting, information fiend with a finger on the pulse of civic culture. As the Director of The Commonwealth Club’s INFORUM, Caroline keeps The Club’s program structure dynamic and its content cutting edge. With inventive events like Getting Your Green Dream Job, Street Food: SF Hearts the Cart and If Not the Chronicle, Then What? Caroline has brought together 100s of industry leaders, like Jimmy Wales, Arianna Huffington, Van Jones, Mark Zuckerberg and Ralph Nader, to give voice to the most important issues of our times. With a strong sense of mission-based strategy and community engagement Caroline convenes new networks and builds lasting relationships among members, vendors, attendees, bloggers, volunteers, businesses and organizations. Caroline has a knack for identifying emerging issues, finding a solution to any problem and for delivering the impossible - she once produced a successful, live-broadcast public event with Michael Moore on just 30 hours notice. Caroline’s three favorite concepts are: innovation, knowledge sharing and community engagement. On a personal note, Caroline can't resist a good knock-knock joke or puns with wit and she maybe thinks that the world would not be the same without without hot-off-the-vine tomatoes, her cat named Bird, fighting the good fight for environmental sustainability or Wikipedia.
