About Alexis James

Growing up military and never putting down roots for more than three years at a time made me a gypsy at heart; so after five years in SF I sometimes feel like I've never lived anywhere else! A background in media and journalism did much the same thing for my career, taking me from network news, to cable TV to self-employment. I'm now semi-settled down at a startup, <a href="http://signpost.com">Signpost.com</a>; and when I'm not working 60 hours a week you can find me galavanting around the globe, visiting my scattered family in the far-flung corners of the world.
