About Sally

Sally Kuchar spends her days gulping down Hendrick's martinis and complaining about housing prices (don't even get her started on ridiculously high HOA dues).

When she's not taking care of Curbed SF, she writes for MoCo Loco, a contemporary design and architecture site. Forms of payment are also exchanged for consulting on residential and commercial sustainable interior design projects.

Some of her favorite things to do are go fast on roller skates, watch the 2010 World Champions win baseball games, play Scrabble with the other members of her Ladies Who Scrabble Club, frolic in city parks, and make pillows for her friends and family. She almost exclusively wears stilettos.

Sally was born in San Francisco and has never lived outside of the Bay Area. Unless something goes horribly wrong, she plans to stay here until she dies. Preferably in a big house with a moat and animals roaming the grounds.
