About Leslie

Leslie Fulbright is a Los Angeles native who moved to San Francisco in 1994. Switching from heels to flats, living without a car and reducing her use of the word "like" have taken years to master, but she believes the transition is finally complete. Leslie studied journalism at San Francisco State and worked as a reporter in the Bay Area and Seattle before landing at the San Francisco Chronicle. She decided last year to take a break from the newspaper business and start searching for what comes next. While searching, she has perfected her Pisco Sour, trained to become a spinning instructor, and burned through a stack of biographies. She also enjoys watching the reality show that is Muni, making ice cream out of Chinatown vegetables, and befriending people with sailboats.
