About Josh

Josh Donald’s relationship with sharp objects began at 5 when he found a pocketknife. It deepened considerably and became more personal at 7 when he suddenly decided he had to do two things: change his name from Ethan and cut off all his hair.
When not buying, selling or working with knives, Josh enjoys studying natural history, the works of writers like Borges, James Ellroy and Lester Bangs as well as reading The New York Times, which he saves to wrap orders in. A fan of cool and damp weather with patches of not too hot sunshine, Josh fittingly lives in San Francisco with his wife Kelly and their three children—early indications are he will not be cutting their hair and they will not be opting to change their names.
