About Chris

Formative years spent in Dallas, TX, Yucatan, Mexico, and Williamstown, Massachusetts. Somewhat more adult life spent in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and SF, in that order. Moved to California in 2005, searching for the chimerical West, and to attend a masters program for creative writing at the now-defunct New College. I’ve been a music reviewer and cultural critic for a few publications, an indie rock booking agent, a warehouse worker, a book publicist, and too many other miscellaneous things to mention here. I spend most of my creative time these days on art, photography, and curating shows at Partisan Gallery. My current project is publishing a magazine, which will launch sometime in August under the name Partisan.
