About Chris

Chris Benz grew up in Alaska, where a childhood of manual labor and being the smallest kid on the hockey team taught him never to quit, even in the face of wisdom and sound judgment. He and a friend once ran eight miles barefoot through a redwood forest. He’s not sure it settled the argument.

His fear of commitment limits his employment to temporary jobs, like donating his body to science part by part. He rides the bus.
