About Brian
Brian Lam spent every childhood summer in Hong Kong swimming pools or scouring the back alleys for new gadgets. He moved to SF 10 years ago, where he quickly landed and was fired from a mind numbingly boring consulting job, and ending up mopping the floors and teaching at the old Fairtex boxing gym. That was before he realized that being punched in the face every day was not the right career move for him. He ended up editing at Wired Magazine, taking over Gizmodo, a blog sometimes about gadgets and technology, and the ocean site The Scuttlefish.com. He likes oysters.
